A nonpsychoactive cannabinoid Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a chemical compound found in the cannabis sativa plant. When applied topically or consumed through smoke inhalation or edible consumption, CBD interacts with neuroreceptors in your endocannabinoid system, which sends signals between your cells to help regulate your movement, mood, homeostasis and immune system.
Delta-9 THC is a cannabinoid molecule in marijuana (cannabis) that’s long been recognized as the main psychoactive ingredient—that is, the substance that causes people who use marijuana to feel high. This cannabinoid interacts with the CB1 receptors that are located in the brain, responsible for many processes in the mind such as decision-making, memory, and others. This powerful compound is said to provide effects such as excitement, euphoria, anxiety, perceptual and visual alterations, restlessness, and others. The effects can be very intense for some users, while others enjoy the out worldly experience.
Please note, Delta 9 provides more intense effects and, if not used in the proper dosage, can give side effects such as mental fog, motor skills impairment, severe anxiety, and even paranoia.
Delta-8 Tetrahydrocannabinol, also known as Delta-8 THC, is Delta-9’s “nicer, younger sibling.”. It is a psychoactive substance found in the cannabis sativa plant. Delta-8 is a naturally occurring cannabinoid that’s found in small traces in hemp and cannabis (marijuana) plants. Both Delta-9 and Delta-8 produce a euphoric, fuzzy feeling, but Delta-8 causes a milder high.
